I think this book is a fab book! A sure win. It was full of enought description that I could run a movie in my head! The idea of the beautiful dead is a fab idea. I think eden has a good chance of winning and I have recomended thnis book to my friends! Can’t wait to read the others.

The thing i love about this book is that the Beautiful Dead get a change to get peace about their grief – stricken deaths which helps them be at rest with themselves and the world when they are finally sent to heaven. I also like the fact that only a select few can come back to be one of the Beautiful Dead and all the people from Ellerton High have been given that change. My favourite character by far would be Hunter as he is very mean and horrible at the start but then we hear his story and we can sort of see why. He also softens up a bit at the end as he trusts Darina more which i feel i really good and makes the book a lot nicer.

and to hear about a book that wil be in the final six, it makes you want to read it and see if it actually is that good and people like it as much as others.

Mysterious things surround Ellerton High as Jona, Arizona, Summer and Phoenix died within a year of each other.

Jonas was the first to die in a motor cycle accident and the three deaths that followed were equally surprising too!

Heart broken Darina can’t stop having visions of her dead boyfriend, Phoenix and the others who have died. Are the visions true and real or is it just her imagination when she is thinking about her boyfriend.

I think it’s very good book because it has its unique edge which makes the readers feel restless because Darina meets the Beautiful Dead which are living zombiesand never gets her memory eraised because the Beautiful Dead want her help, but why? I think it’s an appropriate book for ages 12-16

This book is very emotional. Four pupils have died already. I like the way they build this suspense in the book before another person dies. This book was amazing, I like the way that when you pick up the book you feel a sort of vibe that makes you want to read on.

I think that a good book needs suspense and should be easy to read but also interesting. I personally think a good book also needs a brilliant beginning middle and end and Beautiful Dead has this.

Even my mum wanted to read this book. In this book I like where the girl has dreams and sees into the future She needs to help the 4 of her friends who have already died be released from jeopardy and so they can finally rest in peace in heaven. In this book Beautiful dead basically means souls in limbo. I love the way every detail is mentioned, from the fine hairs of her wings (Darina) to the specific details of their deaths

It is very emotional. I like the book I can’t put it down my sister tells me to put it down but I want to read it I want to read it for long and long and I like the people how made this book I wish we have so many books of the beautiful dead I think it is going to win because it is the best book I have ever read.

I love the part where the beautiful dead get a second chance to make up of their death.

‘Not dead, not alive, but between lie the beautiful dead’

As I read the book, I felt sorry for Darina because for her it hurts to lose her boyfriend (Phoenix) and that she has to see him but not stay with him like they used to.
I like the description of the faces of the beautiful dead; it gives me a clear picture of what they look like.
This is like a fairytale, but more interesting and fantastic.
Each character except the beautiful dead is hiding something and it is Darina’s job to find out what happened to the deaths of the beautiful dead.
It’s like waterloo road, lots of things happen in Ellerton high that are…I don’t know how to say it but unexpected.
It tells you a lot about Darina and her school. I wish the school had all the books of Beautiful dead. When I finished the book, I kept thinking what will happen next.

I absolutely loved this book. the cover is absolutely out there and makes you think ‘Ooh-er’ and pick it up. book’s with a grief stricken girlfriend on the verge are 10 a penny, i was pretty skeptic at first. but then got immersed in it, and WOAH! you cant help but love some of the characters, my favourite is Phoenix’s brother, who looks out for darina.
