We aren't being lazy or playing favourites. If you don't see your number one author here it's because one of their books hasn't been entered into the award yet, or that they don't have their own website.

Barrington Stoke

An award winning publisher that specialises exclusively in fiction and resources for reluctant, dyslexic, disenchanted and under-confident readers. Before publication all books are read by young people. You can also find out about the authors and illustrators, write a review, and read the first chapter of a book. The site has separate sections for parents and teachers.

Bookheads

Set up as part of the Booktrust Teenage Prize, which celebrates the best of teen fiction aimed at 13 to 16 year olds. The site features all shortlisted books. Enter competitions, win prizes, join the Bookhead Gallery, and find out about other bookheads and their favourite reads.

Cool Reads

Books for 10 to 15 year old readers by 10 to 15 year old reviewers. This tell-it-like-it-is site is designed and run by two teenage boys.

EnCompassCulture

Calling itself the global bookclub, this is a worldwide reading group. The place to find your nest book and talk about books with other readers around the world. It has full details of over 6000 books for all ages, plus author interviews, discussion boards and quizzes.
